Our Liberty Seed Banks are regionally configured and come in five sizes. When ordering, you'll need to specify whether you would like a Northern Bank (ideally suited for USDA Growing Zones 3-6) or a Southern Bank (Zones 7-10). If you are unsure which growing zone you are in, click here to view the USDA Growing Zone Chart.
Each of our banks is filled with over 75 varieties of non-hybrid, non-GMO, open-pollinated heirloom seed. These varieties include (but are certainly not limited to) Carrots, Corn, Tomatoes, Onions, Green Beans, Peas, Broccoli, Mustard, Lettuce, Turnips, Asparagus, Cucumbers, Melons, Peppers, Kale, Beans, Eggplant, Beets, Spinach, Cabbage, Squash, Celery and various Herbs. Every bank contains the same mix of varieties regardless of size; only the quantity of seed varies.
Due to seasonal and climactic factors, our bank contents change regularly; that is why we do not publish precise lists of bank contents. For instance, last year's drought wiped out several crops, and some varieties are totally unavailable. Even so, you can be assured of receiving a well-balanced, nutritious mix of fresh seed that will both allow you to eat well and enable you to utilize your entire growing season!
All of our banks come packaged in re-sealable steel US Army ammo boxes that are air-tight, water-tight and vermin proof. Simply put, there is no better way to store your seed. Obviously, we could save a great deal of money by packaging our seeds in some other sort of container. But when the well-being of your family is on the line, we aren't taking any chances.
